"Mister President, are you going to turn your back on me?"
While George Bush was in New Orleans today, commemorating the one year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina (and his abissmal, inept response to one of the worst natural disasters to hit U.S. soil), he admitted that he had turned his back on the people of New Orleans.
When he made a stop at a pancake house, waitress Joyce Labruzzo expressed her fustration over the government's response to Hurricane Katrina, and aksed Bush: "Mister President, are you going to turn your back on me?"
So what do you think Bush's response was?
Apparently he thinks it is funny that a hurricane survivor would feel betrayed by their government's failed response, because he had the audacity to LAUGH at her question, and then said "Not again." So there, you have an admission from the miserable failure that is George W. Bush, that he turned his back on the people of NOLA.
