'Reasserting The Rule of Law Over Lawless Administration'
The New York Times has written a wonderful op/ed on the judge's decision to put a hault to BushCo's warrantless domestic spying program.
But this one paragraph in particular speaks to me, because it rings so true. From the New York Times op/ed:
"But for now, with a careful, thoroughly grounded opinion, one judge in Michigan has done what 535 members of Congress have so abysmally failed to do. She has reasserted the rule of law over a lawless administration and shown why issues of this kind belong within the constitutional process created more than two centuries ago to handle them."

She was holding the President of the United States accountable for abiding by the law. She reminded us all that NO president is above the law.
In effect, she was saying that George W. Bush has violated his oath of office, when he pledged to uphold the Constitution of the United States.
That is the issue here.
