Did Marines Involved in Haditha Murders Tamper With Evidence?

Well color me surprised here!

It seems as though some of the marines involved in the murders of innnocent civilians (including children) in Haditha, Iraq have tampered with the evidence in the case.

According to an article in the New York Times, a military investigation found instances where marines in the Haditha case seem to have destroyed or witheld evidence.

For example, a company logbook relating to the Marine unit involved in the Haditha murders, was tampered with.  And an increminating video was not turned over to investigators, until Lt. Gen. Peter W. Chiarelli stepped in.
