"R": The Scarlet Letter
Another Republican cutting and running from the Republican Party, lol!
Republican Michael Steele (running for the Senate from the state of Maryland) says being a Republican is an impediment and he doesn't want George Bush to campaign for him.
He told the Washington Post "It's an impediment. It's a hurdle I have to overcome. "I've got an 'R' here, a scarlet letter."

This is not a buffet where you can pick and choose. Michael Steele chose to be a Republican, that includes all of the crap that's attached to it. If you are an "R" be one, if you are a "D" own it. No one respects a person who only says what one wants to hear or does what they "think" the general population wants to hear just the get elected. It's unauthentic and pathetic.
