Bushie: What? Me Worry?
BushCo. was ripped a new one today for its response (or lack thereof) to Hurricane Katrina.
A Senate inquiry concluded that Bush and the White House seemed indifferent to the devastation caused by Katrina for two days after the storm hit.
Well of course Bushie and crew were indifferent. He was too busy giving a speech where he compared himself to Franklin Roosevelt, and partying it up at John McCain's birthday celebration.
He was so indifferent, that White House Communications Director Dan Barlett realized he needed to make Bushie a DVD of newcasts from NOLA, in order for him to see the reality of what was happening on the ground.
And well over a thousand people paid for Bushie's indifference with their lives. And many people are still paying for Bushie's indifference today as they try to rebuild their lives and find new jobs and new schools to send their children.
