Boortz: "Save The Rich People First"

@ 08:17 PM (34 months, 20 days ago)

If anyone needs any more evidence of just who the Conservative right are, never fear! Neal Boortz is here to help.

On his radio show, Boortz said that in the event of an impending emergency, if priorities have to be made about who gets saved, the rich people should be saved first.  He made the comments in response to a  New York Daily News article that some rich folks may have been tipped off about the so-called terror threat to New York's subways, before the rest of New York was notified.

Boortz went on to say:

"This is as it should be. OK? If we are faced with disaster in this country -- let me ask you this, OK? You just be logical. Get all of the emotion out of this. Get all of the emotion out of this. But if we are faced with a disaster in this country, which group do we want to save? The rich or the poor? Now, if you have time, save as many people as you can. But if you have to set some priorities, where do you go? The rich or the poor? OK? Who is a drag on society? The rich or the poor? Who provide the jobs out there? The rich or the poor? Who fuels -- you know, which group fuels our economy? Drives industry? The rich or the poor?.......Well, hell, yes, we should save the rich people first. You know, they're the ones that are responsible for this prosperity."

  1. I have an idea. Let's save all the people and not put into consideration their income levels.

  2. Well imagine that!!!! I think you hit the nail on the head! :)

You know what I find interesting in this? Every time the Democratic Party talks about the economic divide in this country, and the "two Americas" (as John Edwards did so eloquently last year) the Republicans accuse us of class warfare.

Yet, they are the ones who play class warefare (as Neal Boortz showed us with his comments).
