Lisa Daniels: Dead Bodies a Win For Bush
On the September 18 episode of NBC's The Chris Matthews Show, MSNBC's Lisa Daniels said:
"All right. Being down in New Orleans for two weeks, I think it's actually worse than the TV pictures actually show. But that said, expectations are so bad right now -- that it's going to take so long for the water to be pumped out, that there are 10,000 dead bodies there -- that this is actually, Howard [Fineman, fellow panelist], going to be a win for President Bush."
Just one question for Lisa Daniels: are you trusting the American people to have selective memory, and forget that George Bush, by his inaction, is partly responsible for those dead bodies?

People get all caught up in the physical side of this hurricane... THe fact is that Gw's administration has sent our poverty roles throught the roof. His tax-cuts were famous for being able to afford a muffler. People are not capable of keeping their communities together, with all of our communities being bought up by big business. People work two jobs, there's not enough time for your family (Witness divorce rates among the underclass), much less block parties and tea. These people are busting their asses, just to be good... Bush's economic plan is difference between poor and desperate... And desperation is a great challenge to goodness, as many morals are expensive.

Turns out much of what was reported was grossly exaggerated. Six deaths in the stadium...4 from natural causes one overdose and one suicide. Read on.
